We are pleased to offer a six-week wheel throwing course for all skill levels, from absolute beginner to proficient throwers. Individual attention is the main focus of this course and demonstrations will be tailored to students’ needs. This course will address all aspects of wheel throwing including making a variety of forms, trimming, altering, assembling, and surface decoration.

Practice wheel-time outside of class is included in your course fee and it is highly recommended that you use it to improve your skills.
Maximum capacity 12 students per class
$340/student Tuition includes all material, firings, and open studio.

| Beginner | No Experience | Will learn to throw basic cylindrical forms, simple bowl forms and composite stacked forms |
| Intermediate | Taken at least two classes at Clay Work Studio or elsewhere | Will continue to practice the cylinder and other bowl forms. Intermediates will also start to make basic plate forms |
| Advanced | Taken at least three classes at Clay Work Studio or elsewhere and display a good understanding of the process | Advanced students will explore more complex forms like teapots and other thrown and altered objects |
