This workshop is an introduction & overview in plaster mold making both press and slip casting. We will explore plaster and molds for designing and creating new forms, whether it be tiles, pots or sculpture. An intro to the tools, materials, and equipment as well as safety will be covered.

This is a hands-on workshop. Students will be making a smaller mold to keep from an object they chose to bring to the workshop. (More information will be sent to students before the workshop.)

Cost: $180.00/student all inclusive (plaster, clay, limited amount of casting slip will be available, tools.)
